Hope to Home’s Board of Directors and those we serve remain indebted to you for your generous volunteering and donations. From the warehouse so far this year, we have delivered and fully setup furniture and other household goods, to over 60 households valued at nearly $58,000!
In the first quarter of 2026, we delivered: 134 Beds and frames, 73 Dressers, 53 Kitchen Tables, 179 Kitchen Chairs, 22 Microwaves, 46 Sofas, 54 stuffed Chairs, 48 Coffee Tables, 63 End Tables, 187Table & Floor Lamps, 74 Linen Kits, 40 Kitchen Kits and so much more.
Most of all, we delivered Hope, as we set up homes together and laughed and prayed together. We have turned empty and often depressing places into bright, comfortable, safe “homes”; places of new beginnings.
Here are two stories from this quarter’s deliveries:
“Our first client was so very thankful that she was overcome with tears of joy. She repeatedly told us how grateful she was. She is on a kidney transplant list and gave thanks to God for having this furnished home to come to after her surgery!”
“Good afternoon my name is Daryl and you aided me with furniture, but more importantly prayer. I’m doing fine and I’m hoping to get married next year. My company is doing a lot better too. I like to think that I’m closer to the Creator and I’m better for knowing you and all those who associate themselves with you and yours.”
And, our volunteers continue to find it a “life changing experience”. We are told this repeatedly.
Finally, because of our incredible donors and volunteers, who serve and give generosity, we remain a 100% volunteer organization. So, we are able to focus our entire budget and volunteer effort on serving those in need, with 99% of donations going into our program.
We now provide support to over 20 agencies in the Charleston area; helping veterans and other homeless as well as women and children escaping domestic violence and human trafficking. Thank you all so very much for your ongoing support.
