We are honored to be featured by Live 5 News in a recent story highlighting the impact that a furnished home can have on individuals and families rebuilding their lives.
The segment follows Air Force veteran Michael Bullard as he begins a new chapter after overcoming homelessness. Through partnerships with organizations such as One80 Place and the support of dedicated volunteers, Hope To Home was able to provide furniture, household essentials, and the comfort of a fully furnished home at no cost to him.
The story also highlights the work of our volunteers who collect, repair, clean, and deliver furniture to individuals and families transitioning from homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking, and other difficult circumstances.
As our founder, Tom Young, shared in the interview, a furnished home provides more than furniture—it provides dignity, stability, and hope. When people feel safe and comfortable in their homes, they are more likely to build a successful future and avoid returning to crisis situations.
We are grateful to Live 5 News for helping share the stories of the people we serve and the volunteers who make this work possible.
